    A visit to historic Portsmouth, Southsea and the Isle of Wight, UK.   Portsmouth is known for its historic dockyard and is home to the Royal Navy. So much history and so much to do here. If you are into maritime history this is the place.  The dockyard is populated with well known ships which played pivotal roles in naval history.   Her majesty’s majestic warships such as the HMS warrior the only surviving ship from a significant WW1 campaign, Vice- Lord Admiral Nelsons HMS Victory, the submarine Alliance and the Mary Rose museum  which shows the 400 year hull, a  Tudor relic rest here.     Neolithic Monolith Stone Formations of Erdeven and Carnac in Brittany, France

    Not to be missed the monoliths are a reminder of our prehistoric past. if you are into history this is a good place to explore. Many tourist see Stonehenge as the premier site to visit for stone formations and although I have not been to that location as yet I will venture to say these sites might give it a run for the money.
